The globalisation of trade, easier movement of people, climate change and the rise of antibiotic resistance are all factors that favour the emergence, development and spread of infectious diseases.
The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic and the recent outbreaks of influenza A, Ebola or Zika have shown that the solutions implemented to detect them are generally deployed too late to control and prevent them in a fully effective way.
The various existing biosensing and diagnostic solutions provide either low accuracy or high quality results but are time consuming and expensive to obtain, as they are locked in laboratories located far away from the patient's place of care.
At BforCure, we are convinced that the combination of the latest innovations in biosensing, PCR techniques and data processing will enable us to fight infectious diseases more effectively. Thanks to these cutting-edge technologies, we are able to imagine and design reliable solutions to detect pathogens (viruses, bacteria, fungi) more easily, more accurately and more quickly as soon as they appear, as close as possible to the needs of health professionals and at prices accessible to the greatest number.
Our mission
We help medical laboratories to react efficiently to emergencies and to relocate as close as possible to the needs of health professionals to enable them to access results more quickly and to speed up the treatment of their patients.
We are developing a PCR analysis platform that combines a mobile and connected automated system with a range of kits that can perform single tests for infectious diseases and deliver results within minutes.
