Step 1: the reaction mixture
Dip the swab into the Lysis Buffer vial and swirl for about 1 minute to release the genetic material.
Testing with Bfast™ [SARS-CoV-2] RT-PCR pack - POC
This pack, CE-IVD marked, contains the reagents to perform 25 unit tests (lysis buffer and RT-PCR mix in lyophilized format).
It allows for emergency or analysis in remote laboratory, as well as individual validation of suspect results detected on test plates.
The preparation protocol is carried out in 4 simple steps:
Step 2: the reaction mixture
Insert the dispenser tip onto the lysis buffer bottle and place a single drop of the mixture into the RT-PCR reagent tube.
Homogenise the mixture.
Step 3: filling the Chronos™ chip
Dispense the reaction mixture into the Chronos™ chip with the help of the transfer pipette.
Step 4: Performing the PCR test
Insert the chip into the Chronos™ Dx platform which performs the test in less than 15 min.
