Step 1: Cell lysis
After centrifuging the sample and removing the supernatant, add lysis buffer to release the genetic material.
Test with Bfast™ [GBS] PCR pack
This pack, CE-IVD marked, contains the reagents to perform 25 unit tests (lysis buffer and PCR mix), either in an emergency or in a remote laboratory.
The preparation protocol is carried out in 4 steps:
Step 2: the reaction mixture
Take the previous mixture and add it to the tube containing the PCR reagent.
Step 3: filling the Chronos™ chip
Inject the reaction mixture into the Chronos™ chip.
Step 4: Performing the PCR test
Insert the chip into the Chronos™ Dx platform which performs the test in less than 17 min.
